International court is an independent judicial body with jurisdictions over individuals/countries who committed crimes that are constituted by the charter of the court. The international court and law is designed to prohibit certain categories of conduct commonly viewed as serious atrocities and to make perpetrators of such conduct criminally accountable for their perpetration.
Not all countries are mandated to sign and ratify the court, but once they ratify, they are legally binded to follow all of the constitutions and the charters.
For example: ICC or the International Criminal Court, was established to prosecute countries/individuals who committed war crimes and crimes against humanity. However, there are still countries who haven’t ratified the ICC charter, such as: United States of America, Russia, China, and Indonesia.
Health crimes can be defined as an act of negligence and misconduct towards health issues happening in their countries and also the global world. (Including but not limited to: unwillingness to follow the health standards and the protocol established by the WHO, Brazil’s former president being unwilling to comply with the recommendation for usage of masks and quarantine measures, and unwillingness of China to comply with WHO investigations on the Virology Institute of Wuhan).
